Maike Bosselmann MRSS (T), CSA (P) People, Canine & Feline
Maike is a German resident in Spain for more than 14 years. She has been a Shiatsu practitioner for people for over 7 years, studying for 4,5 years Tradicional Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture, Tuina and Shiatsu at 'Mingmen - Escuela Europea de MTC Acupuntura y Técnicas Orientales' in Madrid.
After the adoption of her little Dachshund mix Lula that came out of a terrible situation of being mistreated and abandoned, she started to search for alternative therapies in order to help her to overcome the trauma. Thereafter she learned about Healing Touch canine massage, animal communication, natural remedies and floral therapies and started casually exploring her Shiatsu skills on her dog, discovering amazing changes in Lula. So she started applying Shiatsu on dogs and cats as a volunteer in animal shelters.
In 2016 she started being a collaborator with El Nahual, a holistic veterinarian hospital and school for alternative therapies close to Madrid. At the same school she became a qualified practitioner in Craneosacral Therapy for animals and started with the teaching of the first ‘Shiatsu for animals’ course available in Spain
